Room: 041 | The presentation will offer a detailed overview of developments in Ethernet standardization for 10 Mb/s and 100 Mb/s operation over a single-pair of twisted-pair copper cabling, addressing single-pair data transmission, powering, field testing, and applications. The 10 Mb/s single-pair ethernet standard 10BASE-T1L and the 100 Mb/s Ethernet standard in development by the IEEE P802.3dg 100 Mb/s Long-Reach Single-Pair Ethernet Task Force Long-Reach Single Pair Ethernet Task Force will be addressed with emphasis on end-user applications.
