CHANDLER, Arizona, August 23, 2021 – AEM, a global leader in test and handling solutions, today announced, that multiple products in its Test and Measurement Solutions have been recognized among the best by the 2021 Cabling Installation & Maintenance Innovators Awards. An esteemed and experienced panel of judges from the cabling community recognized the TestPro CV100, Multifunction Cable Certifier Smart Building Test Kits as a Platinum honoree, the Network Service Assistant, Multifunction Connectivity Tester as a Gold honoree, and the Mixed Mode Multi-Port Vector Network Analyzer (MMVNA-200) as a Silver honoree.
“On behalf of the Cabling Installation & Maintenance Innovators Awards, I would like to congratulate AEM on their Platinum/Gold/Silver — level honoree status,” said Cabling Installation & Maintenance Chief Editor Patrick McLaughlin. “This competitive program allows Cabling Installation & Maintenance to celebrate and recognize the most innovative products, projects, technologies, and programs impacting the industry.”
The TestPro CV100 – Multifunction Cable Certifier is purpose-built for today’s modern Smart Building network infrastructure. It offers the most feature rich test platform available today, with a modular based platform that allows for customization of the exact test suite needed. Smart Building Test Kits (K60 & K61), offer a complete test suite pre-packaged to meet all your testing needs. To assure infrastructure readiness to support Smart Building technologies, TestPro supports copper cable certification, singlemode and multimode tier 1 fiber optic certification, including support for hybrid powered fiber. Additionally, the TestPro supports a Signal-to-Noise (SNR) measurement while under both network traffic and PoE load to assure the link can support the desired application, up to 10Gigabit Ethernet. Indepth PoE load testing supports of 802.3 af/at/bt standards, and UPoE. For wired multi-gigabit network connectivity, TestPro features details on switch slot/port/VLAN, network discovery, and troubleshooting tools such as Ping and TraceRoute. For wireless, in addition to these tools, TestPro reports all seen SSIDs, their associated channel and signal strength, including roaming signal strength.
The innovative Network Service Assistant (NSA) – Multifunction Connectivity Tester represents a new class of Qualification+ testing, by offering a hybrid test solutions that bridges the divide between typical qualification and certification grade cable testers. NSA features Certi-Lite, a standards based testing methodology that provides RF measurements required in certification testing, from a single end using a small passive terminator. This allows users to be assured of link performance against industry test standards, while significantly reducing the cost of the test equipment, by not having two full RF measurement engines on each side of the link.
The Mixed Mode Multi-Port Network Analyzer (MMVNA-200) characterizes twisted pair and coax cables and components. MMVNA is a user friendly, versatile analyzer that is most often deployed in manufacturing and lab tests of IoT applications, specialty sensor connections and automotive wiring harness testing.
In a matter of seconds, the MMVNA can measure 256 different S-parameter combinations in a single measurement sweep. The VNA Manager software provides an easy way to configure required S-parameters and arrange them in convenient views and reports. MMVNA is IP addressable, so you can ensure uniform testing methodology across distributed locations with remote configuration capability.
