INSTALLATION

Certify twisted pair cable for CAT5e – CAT 8 Level IIG

TestPro supports testing and certification for network deployments up to 40 Gigabit Ethernet for Cat 5e, 6, 6A, 7, 8 or Class I/II cabling system. The electrically centered test plug assures the Level 2G/VI accuracy required to support field testing to Cat 8 / Class I/II, and actually exceeds the 2000 MHz requirement, to offer a 3000 MHz platform. As a result, you can feel confident in results over the full frequency range test standards require both today and in the future.

TestPro’s certifier Autotest is a one-button operation that performs all tests required for ANSI/TIA 1152-A bi-directional standard compliance, in addition to other parameters such as TCL (Transverse Conversion Loss). TestPro also provides comprehensive DC measurements including both pair-to-pair and in-pair resistance unbalance tests to pre-qualify that the link should support Power over Ethernet.  The Autotest also reports distance-to-fault plots based on NEXT and Return Loss time-domain measurements as well as a shield discontinuity TDR giving technicians an easy-to-understand graphical representation of the location of a problem.  All of the tests are performed in 6 seconds for CAT6A channel or permanent link.

Certify Singlemode and Multimode fiber optic cable

TestPro’s fiber optic measurements provide Tier-1 certification per industry standards as well as customizable limits for both Multimode and Singlemode Fiber Optic premises cabling.  Additionally, these adapters include an integrated VFL to provide a quick indication of a break in the wire.  Unique to TestPro, the fiber adapters have DC resistance and voltage measuring capabilities, providing self-contained solution for testing hybrid powered fiber cables.

IMPLEMENTATION

For those responsible for the deployment and/or troubleshooting of end devices, such as digital lighting, wireless access points, security cameras, environmental sensors and more, TestPro provides you with an extensive test suite to assure infrastructure readiness to support these technologies.  Often times, these devices require a certain level of link speed, and even PoE to power the device.  TestPro provides you with the ability to validate link speed while under both traffic and PoE load including printed reports of this test, which can be used to expand your service offering.  Additionally, TestPro can do a network discovery to see all devices on the network and report on switch detail, including slot/port/VLAN, aiding in configuration validation.  Learn more in the Capabilities section at left.
